Egyptian Healing Systems

When we talk of healing energies we are not speaking of new energy. Most people are now familiar with the term Reiki, but so many think of Reiki as a new healing system. Nothing could be further from the truth. All energy is timeless, energy changes state and is always moving in and out of form. Modern forms of healing using energy is simply new names on very old faces. We are not so much discovering and learning new ways, as rediscovering and relearning old ways which have been forgotten.

All of the ancient peoples had healing systems and so now in our so called ‘New Age’ we are seeing so many of these now coming to light. Egypt has for most people a very definite emotional trigger in one of two ways. People either are fascinated, or else feel nervous of the raw powerful energy which emanates from the Egyptian energies. This is perfectly normal. For example Fey or fairy energy is often felt as negative energy by those experiencing it for the first time. Not because it is negative. But because it is so far removed from our own so called normality. This is the same with the Egyptian forms. They are very different, but are all centred in love and are all powerful and have much to teach us.
